Sony ultra short throw projector 4k7/31/2023 Hisense is one of the pioneers of UST projectors, and their long experience is paying off in this ingenious new product. The new Hisense L9G has been opening eyes among fans of ultra-short throw (UST) projectors, with its amazing image quality, excellent smart TV integration, and its pairing with two sizes of proprietary screens. Pricing shown for 120" model with 120" ALR Projector Screen. There’s a lot going on in this affordable projector, which is why we’re including it in our guide to the best projectors of 2023. Epson’s picture processor technology completes the heavy lifting by doing real-time enhancement of color, contrast, HDR, resolution, and frame interpolation. This means that pixel positions get shifted in four different phases, which gives you super clear Ultra HD detail. It also gives it very accurate color performance that avoids visual artifacts that can occur with some projection technologies, especially with Digital Light Processing (DLP) projectors.Īnother one of Epson’s ground-breaking proprietary projection technologies is Pixel Shift, which the LS 11000 has the latest version of, called 4K PRO-UHD. A three-LCD system provides one panel each for blue, red, and green, so it helps the LS 11000 achieve its eye-popping brightness. With 2500 lumens, there is plenty of power to make a dazzling picture. What did Epson do to make this possible? An array of three laser light sources is the first step. From this standpoint alone, the LS11000 rivals projectors that cost much more. A very bright picture with stunning color saturation makes for a very favorable first impression - the kind of things that makes you cross the showroom floor to get a closer look. Finally, if you want to watch with the lights on, the picture will look totally washed out. Also, the reflective properties of the wall are not well controlled, so you might have noticeable hot spots and dull areas. For one thing, the wall is probably painted in a color other than perfectly neutral white or gray, so it will distort the color of the image. When many people hear that, they naturally ask, why not just use a blank wall? You could do that, of course, but the image quality, contrast ratio, and color accuracy (and more) would suffer greatly. In addition to the projector itself, you also need a screen on the wall. Even better, home theater projectors can do all that for far less than a comparably sized TV-if you could even find one! Casting an image that measures from 100 inches up to 150 or even 200 inches diagonally, a home theater projector immerses you in the world of your favorite movies, TV shows, sporting events, and video games like no TV ever could. But if you want a truly cinematic home theater experience with an image that dwarfs virtually all TVs, you need a projector. Flat-panel TVs are getting larger and less expensive with each new generation, which is great.
